1) Have to give you his name when requested?
2) Have to inform you that his bodycam is on?

Any relevant laws/documentation appreciated,
Thanks...

I read it as 'no'.

I suppose you could always ask though.
I am an Independent Advisor to a Police Force. Once a month me and some of my team view body worn videos from the previous month. We are making sure that correct procedure is followed and their behaviour is appropriate. There is a mnemonic called GOWISELY which acts as an aide memoir. If they are in plain clothes then they must give their number and which station they are from. In uniform their number will suffice. Peter Pedant nice to see you're still around.
One of my young relatives is beginning work for the Staffordshire Police on Monday. He sent me photos of himself wearing his three different uniforms. He looks fantastic!
I didn't realise that they had to study so much documentation. I thought they just had to learn to say, 'You're nicked!' :-)
Sorry. ^ that's a bit Chatterbanky.
