The SNP has again finished as the biggest party in the Scottish council elections - with Labour finishing second after the Conservatives suffered big losses.

Enough said.

"I didn't take it as gospel, I know what he meant without nit picking semantics."

Facts and figures are now, "nit picking semantics"?

When one misspeaks one should withdraw it immediately lest one be viewed as Andrewesque.

Did you know, btw, that 'ynnafymmi' comes down to us from the Welsh meaning "drink fuelled roaster"?
I really despair of the SNP voting people. Don't they notice the sheer incompetence of the ferries fiasco, the census fiasco (Oh we just have to be different from England and Wales), the threats and bullying, the failing education system, the rampant wokery. I think they are mesmerised by all the freebies (maybe they are the folk who don't actually pay income tax). I'm sure Sturgeon would extend the franchise to foetuses if she thought it would garner more votes of the irresponsible to her cause.
^Best Answer.Apart from mine, of course.
Thursday's result was the SNP's eleventh election win in a row, so a fair few folk must be voting for them and their policies.
So whens IndyRef2 happening,TCL.We have been promised one every year by Mrs Murrell.Might see one about 2040,if your lucky.See you then.
Word has it late 2023 for another referendum.
Oh,2023 now is it?It was 2018,2019,2020,2021,2022.2023 now?Aye,dream on.
....and now she is cosying up to SinFein/IRA.Thats bound to help amongst Rangers SNP followers.
Naomi: "Word has it late 2023 for another referendum." - well the last one was meant to last a generation, 2014-2023, they have very short generations in Scotland.
@11.34."drink fueled roaster",aye,i wish...
@19.29.Especially in Airdrie/Coatbridge.They keep it all in the family there.Wink,wink.
The chances of many Rangers FC supporters siding with a party looking to split the union seem slim to me, given their devotion to the Queen and flag.
The Irish manouvering is just the cherry on the cake.

Nothing to see here.
Im not really into this OldFirm stuff,Doug.I just know that Airdrie/Coatbridge is a bit like that place in the film Deliverance and the inhabitants mostly support Celtic and also support the IRA terrorists.
"Im not really into this OldFirm stuff,Doug."

Facts just get in the road of a good old rant, don't they?
Traditionally Coatbridge was thought to have a large Catholic population and Airdrie was Protestant, so I'm not sure what the post at 20.26 was getting at.

While you rightly condemn the IRA actions of the 70s onwards, there are others who will point to the excessive brutality of British soldiers in Ireland in the 1920s.

People have long memories influenced by their ancestry and background.
I think ynnafymmi is dottled getting...
"dottled"?Long time since i heard that word,ye are jist being coorse noo,TCL.
