Oh dear, Keir. One rule for them, another for everyone else. Do as I say, not as I do, huh?
Lucky for him that he didn’t break his own rules nor mislead Parliament about it or he may have had to instigate a report on himself.
Hope for his sake it was just the once otherwise his judgement and integrity would be under serious scrutiny.
Oh dear! Gulliver will be most disappointed.
It could actually be a master stroke.
If he is found guilty and receives a FPN he may well feel obliged to resign. Rayner may have to as well.
That would put pressure on Johnson and Sunak to do the honourable thing, as so many have in government in the last 6 months.
Haha, that wont happen Donkey. They are all in it together no matter what the colour they represent.

Personally I think this "BeerGate" is a total waste of money and Police resources, just as 'Partygate' was.

We need the political classes to move on and tackle the current issues of the day, war and people on the bones of their ass.
Just think, the next election comes along and our choice will basically be Beer Karma or Boozed-up Boris. And we thought the Yanks had it tough having to decide between Sleepy Joe and Covfefe Trump. :-J

There's always sir Dead Gravy - Come back Nick-a-Kegg.
But to be fair to Starmer he only broke rules set by others. Both Johnson and Sturgeon broke rules they both themselves wrote out and legislated. So it should be if Johnson resigns because of Partygate, then so should Sturgeon because of Maskgate. They wont, will they?
The Police have already looked at the event in the constituency office before the Hartlepool by election, and concluded no rules were broken. They are looking at it again because of significant pressure fro Conservative MPs.
Campaigning in elections was allowed under the rules. All the photos I have seen never show more than 6 people.
I would expect him to be cleared again.
Didnt Labour say Angela Rayner wasnt there and then said-Oh,we forgot,Angela was there after all-seems like Johnson and Sturgeon arent the only lying neep-heids.
Agree - and a lot of beer and curry take-aways, 30 of each wasn't it, for 6 people? One way of labouring to generate hot air, I suppose.
Gromit, according to the BBC news I’m watching now the police are investigating because further significant information has come to light. Nothing to do with significant pressure from Conservatives.
//Nothing to do with significant pressure from Conservatives.//

It has nothing to do with significant pressure applied by, our compulsory tax funded, National "news" broadcaster either. Looking the wrong way again then.
