I got one of these put on today & i have to take it back tomorrow

however, just before, i bent down, a wire fell down, caught on my foot & pulled out of the sticky pad.
i put it back in straightaway

but is it still working now? or did that ruin the readings?

its got nothing on it except a normal digital clock, so i have no idea if its doing anything at all

im wondering if im going to have to have it on for another 24 hours?

if so, is this something i can reset myself?
taking it back to the hosp is far & expensive only to have to take it home again.

she didnt mention accidental pull outs but i assume it happens, in people sleep etc, so what do they normally do in that situation?

i will ring them in the morning anyway, but just wondering.

thanks :)

No big deal providing that you re-attached it quickly.

Is it still working? No idea but the ECG clinic at your hospital will know.

Call them in the morning.
just stick it back
and carry on

it should be OK as it really is only going after rate variations so so long as there is a bloop of any sort, they can read it
No problem - same thing happened to me. Just plugged it back in straight away. GP didn't comment on it when he gave me the results.
