Never in the field of human endeavour has so much been written by so many about so little. Anybody who is influenced by "trending tweets" really shouldn't be allowed out - certainly not on their own.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest, YMB! I have a Twitter account and spend no time on it. It's helpful to have an account when somebody posts a link to a Twitter post or thread. That's about it.

I think either Musk won't be the great free speech advocate he implies he'll be, or Twitter will suffer and lose members. Either way, I don't care.

Elon Musk saw off Vern Unsworth's legal challenge. the court verdict was there had been no defamation.

perhaps if Mr Unsworth hadn't told Mr Musk where to "stick his submarine", there may not have been a need for court at all.

Yes, Musk saw off the legal challenge from Unsworth, somebody he clearly and obviously called "pedo guy" on Twitter and then told him to take him to court if he didn't like it.

Free speech is great, if you can afford it.
