Heard the first cuckoo of the year today.

Not yet. I shall have a listen on my dog walk this evening.

How lovely. I haven’t heard one for many, many years.

Too be honest I've not heard a cuckoo for years,I don't know whats happened to them all at one time you'd hear them all the time.

Not heard any yet, but I believe I heard one last year, about June.

Heard one this morning in the woods!

I thought I heard one on Sunday, but couldn't be sure.

I did see house martins at the weekend though. A bit later than last year.

House MArtins. Oh dear, more rent free lodgers for the summer and Guano all over the window ledges. Sheesh.
