I just got a job at a cleaning company where we have contracts with all sorts of companies and cleaning their buildings. There is a really nice man training me. He takes dwell time with the disinfectants seriously. Hes also very serious about not cross contaminating. Well, we wear gloves and last night he took out all the trash to the dumpster and with the same gloves, he turned off all of the light switches. I dont want people to get sick but im afraid of bringing it up to him.

Ok who else was expecting this to be about B.O.?
Cindy you appear to be somewhat paranoid about cleanliness. Would you have wanted him to put clean gloves on to turn off the light switches. I was a nurse and took cross contamination seriously but I also took out trash bags. Holding the outside of a bag should not be a problem to then turn of lights. People will not get sick because of this. I don't imagine there was surgical or medical waste in the bags. Don't worry about it.
Cindy appears to have an issue with how well things are cleaned
If he's so nice, why are you afraid of bringing it up with him ?

Since he's training you, why don't you ask him if you need to change gloves after taking out the trash and before turning off all the light switches. Make it sound like part of your learning...
