Smart Meter

I have had a smart meter now for years and now wondering if the fuel company will adjust the new charges.
I give it an odd look to see how my spending is going --so will it nowshow me my new spend

I have a smart meter but the handy little home read out doofer only works if it's plugged in i.e it uses electricity. I'm already very careful about my usage so in the end just unplugged it, it was too depressing to watch the costs mounting up every day.
