Gness, I haven’t mentioned refugees in this discussion ….but you know that.

The critics don’t seem to have given choux’s sensible post any thought and I can’t think of a viable solution to absolve the English from this censure. If we’re sympathetic to Ukraine we’re hypocrites, but the suggestion that we ignore Ukraine provokes a tumult of spluttering indignation. So what to do? All I can suggest is hair shirts all round for the English - dastardly bounders all!

Incidentally, as my past posts on the subject will show, I’ve always been on the side of the Irish - except when they’re blowing us up I mean. I’m not keen on them then.
