Matakari, apart from 41, where the N is wrong, those are fine.

As you have been tackling this crossword for well over a decade, you should be able to work out what 'how they must be entered in the grid' means...
Ah, too late, Matakari - but I'm sure you'll be happy to have been given the themed answers!

Many thanks, shaneystar, I see the implications of the "twist". It's all falling into place now !
Matakari, glad the last couple of entries are 'falling into place' now - there's very little left to do. It was great fun to work this out, a pleasure you have missed out on! You'll get the satisfaction... one day.

Yes, NACW, I thought "at It", but I got "Nereids" for 6 (D ) which threw me off. So, I have to seek a different worm with a "T"...
Glad I could help. Cestode is your worm.
Question Author
I've got it, NACW, many thanks again!
Thanks, Matakari - does 'I've got it' mean 'thanks for giving me the answer' or 'thanks, but I managed to work it out myself?'. I'd dearly like it to be the latter!
Question Author
Good day, NACW, yes , I managed this one all alone, thank you!
