Was chatting online earlier in a womens chat grouo I’ve been in for a long time & one woman was really upset. Apparently her ASDA shopping delivery was due between 4- 5 this afternoon and right at that time her 3 month old decided she wanted a feed. As she is breastfeeding she took baby up to her bedroom and said to her 14 yr old son to keep eye out for the van and to open door when driver knocks. Well driver knocked, boy opened door & driver said he couldn’t leave shopping unless there was someone aged over 18 in house(fair enough). Boy says his mum is breastfeeding his baby sister upstairs, and boy calls up to mum to say driver is here, but driver says no he has to actually see her, and walks straight past boy, up the stairs and into her bedroom where she was on bed with both b**bs out to put it bluntly, feeding her baby!! She shouted at him to get out of her room, which he did, whilst still saying he needed to do that. Then he left.
She was completely stunned and so upset. Naturally there was a huge range of answers with everything from ring ASDA head office ASAP, to call the police, as the boy had said what mum was doing yet he still barged in.
So she rang ASDA h.o. Who seemed to brush her off and simply say someone would get back to her within 48 hours. But she doesn’t feel that’s enough. Personally if a driver had come that to me I’d have been beyond seething!! All he had to do was call up to her and give her 30 seconds to pop a robe on and come to top of stairs.
What do you think??

He couldn't leave her case of vodka without checking her age.
Not necessarily alcohol - could be fags, or kitchen knives.

There was no alcohol in order, she didn’t hear what the son was calling up the stairs, no idea if driver tried all other bedroom doors or if this was only one shut, driver apparently said that if he didn’t see mum/or an adult then he was going to take the shopping back. mum is still sticking 100% to this story. Still have no idea how true it is lol.
Looks like somebody boobed.

Lifted from the files of Take A Break. This could be another one that dies a swift death.
sounds like BS to me, if that happened it'd be all over the news. Anyway, if you know ASDA is coming then wait and feed the baby after, can't hurt to delay a little.
complain to the police
third party complaints are always more interesting !
my asda delivery men wouldn't put their foot over my threshold if i asked them to . . .

Yeah, but was he wearing a mask and keeping a couple of metres away ?
As he could not deliver it at the door the delivery man should have taken it back to his depot, and not go well into the house.
Any update on this?
Times don't seem to have changed much. I clearly remember pensioners spending their days riding the buses or sitting in the reading room of the library because it they couldn't afford to heat their homes in the 1970s
Barry, I think you've posted on wrong thread?
Doh! Thanks, Danny
I havent been able to find diddly squat on the internet on this
I think Smow was taken in by a troll....

it seems unlikely - going into the house with a kid is credible
Going upstairs without permit is incredz

That was done to me ( no one breast feeding )- he wanted to use the lavvy - absolutely classic distraction robbery and I said
" You are freaking me out if you dont get out now I am callin the police." I was VERY near the phone. They went.

A tenant had employed them to put in a carpet. He had been a con and his two friends obviously were. Wrong address ( landlord's) so they tried a little burglary. Well they had made it to prison....

Tenant went back in for growing. [ growing isnt against the law: (*) it is if you are growing cannabis]

(*) last witchcraft trial England 1704. We shall bring forward evidence that the accused has been flying....Judge: There is no law against flying

// because it they couldn't afford to heat their homes in the 1970s//
JKRowling innit?

70s in lodgings ( whilst I was a lab rat at Porton) you were out of the house from 10 to 5 - hence the library
I too think this isn't a true story, just one of the many that get sparked off -somehow- on Facebook. People make all sorts of claims, tell all sorts of tales...
I think what probably happened - driver refused to deliver without seeing adult and this woman was put out because she had to stop what she was doing to speak to the driver, at the front door.

Last ive heard was that mum was sticking to story 100% but said Asda didn’t seem to be taking it too seriously. If it was all a hoax story from some bored troll online then sincere apologies, I guess there is always one x
