Sainsbury's would be safer because he could wear a mask without looking out of place and then no-one would recognise him.
I think its symbolic more than anything. I would expect to see more oligarchs trying to distance themselves and endear themselves to the West (and their money).
There's plenty of money coming from the sale of Chelsea football club to put a massive bounty on Putin. After all Abramovich said he wants the proceeds to go to the Ukrainians, ( did he not) what better way to use it.

A bounty running into the billions would be very attractive, plus its going to take more than one person to get at Putin.
The problem is, everyone seems to assume the next one will be better. It could be out of the frying pan into the fire so be careful what you wish for.
