I need to glue eight or so 200x200mm squares of hardboard on to a polystyrene panel. The best glue for that is UHU, but it would take a few tubes to do it and seems like it would be too expensive. There should be a cheaper option in buying a large tin of glue at trade price but I don't know what brand would be most appropriate. Any ideas? thanks

I would have though that a couple of the larger tubes of UHU would be plenty for 8 x 20cm squares. As they'd only cosy you £7.22 from Amazon, I can't see that you'd save much (if anything at all) by buying a trade adhesive from Screwfix, Wickes, etc.

If you think that you might need a bit more though, consider buying 10 of the smaller tubes instead:

^^^ cosy??? "COST"!
Make sure the adhesive is compatible with polystyrene.

Thank you for your answers. I will go with the tubes of UHU but it's funny that I can't find another adhesive that is compatible with polystyrene sold as a larger package for a slightly larger area.
