When I had my very first car I could not get £2 worth of petrol in the tank!!! Now I feel as though I have sailed past my 100th birthday ;)

My car insurance actually went down by about 3%...and I paid £1.55.9 a litre this morning for "basic" E10 petrol - at the third forecourt I tried...the first two were out of petrol - looks like people are starting to fill up unnecessarily again!

My wife texted me earlier to tell me cretins were queuing up at petrol stations again and whether I should fill up.

Not a chance, I’m not playing that stupid game with idiots getting into a panic.

I’ve got enough fuel to take my son to rugby on Sunday and for part of next week. If people are still losing their minds, then the motorbike will come out two months earlier than usual; when that runs out, it’ll be the train.
