it had been quite horrible, high winds and i worried that the trees out front might come down, but they haven't, though i read that 3 people have lost their lives which is awful.

Over here in Norfolk we have had some strong gusts of wind and some heavy rain but luckily no damage was done. It blew itself out.

Oh dear hope that you're safe and well.
All is calm here in West Yorkshire , blue skies a few clouds dotted about so much so that I've opened windows to let some fresh air in.
