The coasters I made for the Christmas pop up shop were popular so last night I was asked to make lots more.
I have the patience of a saint but no saint would want to cut so many perfect circles by hand.
I've looked at circle cutters but there are so many.
Has anyone got one they could recommend please?

If this is in the wrong category it can be moved but I couldn't find where to put it. Gx

I use my die cutting machine with the largest circle mat die. If you starch the fabric first it cuts a lot cleaner. ( sizzix big shot ).

Thanks, Rowan. Had a look at that and it seems interesting. Mixed reviews but mainly very good.
My coasters begin as a square, fabric top and felt bottom. Fused together and with a firm interfacing in the middle. Inner circle sewn for blanket stitch then outer circle cut using inner circle as a guide. I guess I'd need to change the process slightly but would the machine take the thickness of so much fabric? Gx
I can only cut a couple of layers of cotton or One of felt but because it is so accurate it is still pretty quick. You could find d ies for almost any shape circles are easy to find.

Thanks again, Rowan. Just having a play with fabrics to see if I can adjust the process to use one of these. Would be so much quicker and it seems very accurate.
