What a miserable day. It's hammering down with rain, and blowing a gale. I am bored to tears. Watching Columbo for the twentieth time, even though I love it. Hope it's better tomorrow, I have to go out, that's assuming my car will start. I feel like a right old misery.

After (miserable) dog-walk this morning we've given up for the day - until one of us has to plod out with him at teatime ...... I'm bagsying peeling spuds instead!
We've completed the Sat. Tel. GK and cryptic crosswords and OH is now filling them in in ink and putting them into envelopes to send off - EXCITING STUFF.
The rain it raineth out of the grey all around. :(
A 6 Nations rugby match is on for him in a few minutes - I'll try to wake up my brain enough to finish a short story and take myself away to a sunny beach in Cornwall... Feel better just thinking about it.
Cheer up Bobbie22 et al - it could be worse. :)

I don't really know bobbiesox. I never met her. That's a shame. My other gran came from Stoke on Trent. I never met her either.

Sundays were really awful when you had to go to work on Monday. I used to hate Sunday evening but not now.
I like Sunday evenings because I enjoy Call the Midwife and Dancing on Ice on the tele ,a glass of grey goose and coke or two, comfie pjs dressing gown and slippers, log burner heaped up, a few nibbles within reaching distance and I’m set :0)
