Hi, I have a client who has recently moved house, her iPhone died and her PC died, she hasn't accessed the account on any other device. She has the password to her gmail account but, as it does not recognise the new PC, it won't let her in. The recovery phone number is the one from her old house number which has now been cut off.
I do have access to her old HDD.
Is there a number she can call? Or any suggestions on how to recover the email.

Many thanks

Thanks, I'll give that a go and get back to you.
Remote working atm so I'll need to contact her...
Good luck :)

Hello again. The above method had me going roung in circles as she doesn't appear to have set any security questions or a recovery email.
However, I did manage to get hold of her old PC (running Vista!) which had previously logged in to the account. This allowed me to update the recovery email to the emergency one I set up for her. She now has access to all her old emails. While I was in there I turned on sync so she also has access to saved passwords and history etc.
