I should correct the OP from Jubilee to Ascension, beg pardon.

Same here, Tissy - fr33 range chicken for us with all the trimmings.

Bobbi, I hope you enjoy your lamb.

lol ^^ Accession!
Jubilee is right …
Is there another sick bucket going spare?
I’m not really a lamb lover to be honest , I find it a bit fatty for the gravy but doing a casserole in the slow cooker does itself I suppose
Uncalled for Maggie, no need and I like you as a poster
I only have a roast dinner if i go out for one to the local pub, which is delicious. Sadly, not going today ..

I hope you get to taste one soon then, shirley. Best meal of the week. It is one habit I grew up with and have continued all my life.

Long since retired I am only sure of 2 days in the week - Sundays and refuse collection days. All others meld into one and Bank Hols no longer register!
Have you ever made a Sunday dinner on a weekday? It’s just not the same somehow
I know choux, I LOVE Sunday dinner, along with Christmas dinner. I think we'll go next week (me and my friend that is), she's always up for it when I suggest it lol ....
Question Author
Quite so, Bobbi.
Nope. Had a Chinese. It was kn awful. Really. I rarely have them. Now I know why.
Question Author
ich, I wanted my post to relate to Sunday rather than the more open timing of the Jubilee ;)
