Hi. I just had a neighbour in to tell me that the batteries needed changing in thermostat. Have done this. Heating working ok now. I have just noticed that there is a small circle with a little black square in the centre of the thermostat. It may have been there before, never noticed. Is this normal, can anyone tell me please. Thank you

It’s a Drayton digistat IRF
I can't see anything relevant in the user guide:

If nobody here can help, I suggest emailing the manufacturer:

Thanks buenchchico. The only thing on the thermostat similar was the flashing black strip when the batteries needed replacing. I am pretty useless with regards to things like this. I will take your advice and text the firm. Thanks a lot x

Have sent the email, I will let you know when I get a reply. Thanks
The only thing I can think of Bobbie, is a little "sun" symbol that shows up when in "Comfort" mode.

That’s interesting, thanks builder

There’s lots of info on comfort mode on line. Wish there was a little picture of the symbol
This 'installation & user guide' shows the various symbols:

For buenchico. I have had a reply to my email. It was very quick. But seemed very complex. As I got info from builder and pictures from etch, I think I have got my answer. I just want to thank you though
