Depends why they don't believe it really. Some just rely on their own
intuition or think that because it's happening so slowly and the UK is will likely be one of the last countries to be directly affected to any great extent.

I think the biggest thing issues for the UK will be dealing with aid to affected countries, dealing with climate refugees and having to watch re-runs of nature programmes to see wonderful exotic animals, fish and corals because all the real ones are extinct.
I should have re-read that before posting, hopefully it makes some sort of sense!
