haven't been anywhere to notice flowers emerging. But is definitely getting lighter and longer day light hours.

Dtc is in Cornwall and Minty in Scotland...

Hello minty. I'm a lot further south, but higher up in the Swabian Alps.
We miss the benefits of the gulf-stream which blesses the British Isles.

When we moved here we brought masses of plants from our garden in the Cotswolds, but virtually everything died.

It may be cold at night in the UK, but it generally rises above freezing during the day, thanks to the gulf stream. Here we have long hot summers, but it can stay at, or below, freezing for 24/7 in the winter, not many English garden plants can survive that.

Bad luck Khandro, it's not easy to transplant from one garden to another....

Morning all. Not much except honeysuckle and sheltered azalea out in the garden but more sheltered gardens in village have daffs, snowdrops and camelias braving the weather. Hope we don't have any frost now.
