Despite categorically denying that he was involved there are emails that show he has lied again

So did Mrs Prime Minister make her husband save the fluffy wuffy doggies before interpreters and other personnel who helped coalition forces during their time in Afghanistan ?

Who actually believes a single word this clown says any more ?
He has lied so often and for so long he has probably lost all sense of reality and truth and untruths blur into one in Borisworld

"We appreciate it was a frenetic time for those officials dealing with this situation." So frenetic in fact that not once did it cross the minds of the well-educated people that maybe moving a load of stray dogs out and leaving loyal workers to their fate would be seen as a bad idea compounded by lies and evasions a la Humphrey Appleby. Only now that evidence is...

Evacuation 'didn't just happen
out of the blue', says friend of ex-
Marine Pen Farthing
Dominic Dyer, an animal rights campaigner and
friend of Pen Farthing, has suggested Boris
Johnson did play a "key role" in the evacuation
of animals from Afghanistan - despite his now disputed denials.
He said "it didn't just happen out of the blue",
claiming the PM had engaged with "senior
ministers at the Foreign Office, the Home Office and DEFRA"
Mr Dyer added: "The emails that have been
released today vindicate what I have been
saying since August. Clearly, there were clear
lines being given from ministers to senior
officials that the prime minister was giving
strong support to the project.

Yet Boris maintains he did not get involved directly

Or maybe when he did nobody told him that he had got involved ?

I don’t need a reality check, sticky - you do - and the last place you’ll find ‘reality’ is at the BBC. YMB is quite right. People like you who post anything they think might cast further aspersions upon the victim of their venom shouldn’t be surprised when they achieve the opposite. The astute can spot a witch hunt from a mile away. If you want to be taken seriously you really must try harder. At the moment your posts are on a par with gulliver’s - and we all know how many here take him seriously. Are you sure you’re not his little brother?

PS. Boris has rallied the public. That’s why so many red seats turned blue at the last election.
Yes, but ... does it really matter that the Prime Minister is an inveterate liar and always has been?

So sadly deluded it is actually scary
You never mentioned the seats before
You implied he had rallied the public during and after covid
Do you mean when he was slapping the nhs and public alike in the face when he stood on the steps of Downing St every Thursday night ?
Was probably miffed that the oiks were interrupting his social events !
// People who post anything they think might cast further aspersions, shouldn’t be surprised when they achieve the opposite.//

what, like that senior minister in Parliament who has insisted that he did no wrong, and the more loudly he persists the more the people here think he is an out and out inveterate liar

anyone who starts off: "Mr Speaker anyone who calls me an ingrained and serial liar, ....." I think, dices with his own reputation

I’ve mentioned the last election several times. Perhaps that’s why you’re confused. You don’t pay attention.
// Was probably miffed that the oiks were interrupting his social events !//

no the garden walls were high and the downing street gates firmly locked....the toffs partied on
er 'the last election' arent words of absolution - that wash away all sins and peccadilloes

"the last election" -are words that portend much and result in small change, lies and mistreat

( nascitur montes et parturient ridiculus mus) - Horace
never mind what it means
mistrust - mistreat really doesnt fit

Indeed !
Absolutely dreadful when a member of the public is mirroring the mainstream media in this country who are covering the stories or should I say fables that Boris is presenting as truth on a daily basis
Unlike gulliver I post links to said stories
Meanwhile the self styled Bride of Boris posts nothing to back her claims that he has rallied the public(laughable) and an assertion that nobody else could do a better job whilst ‘thinking’ that he is doing a good job when he is being found out to be a pathological liar on an almost daily basis
Given the calibre of the person that Boris is that reflects rather poorly on the Conservative party as a whole !
Absolutely shocking
Self-styled Bride of Boris? I didn’t say that - you did. If you’re going to use what you obviously think is clever terminology make sure you know what it means first. Anything less makes you look a twit.

Just updated on BBC news
So has the link :

An ally of Mr Farthing, animal rights activist Dominic Dyer, told the BBC he had contacted Mr Johnson's wife Carrie to ask the PM to speak to Defence Secretary Ben Wallace about ensuring Mr Farthing and his animals were evacuated.

So it WAS the PM who told her husband to save the doggos ? Lol

As I suspected :

But Labour's shadow defence secretary John Healey said the leaked emails proved the prime minister had made misleading statements.
"Once again, the prime minister has been caught out lying about what he has been doing and deciding. He should never have given priority to flying animals out of Afghanistan while Afghans who worked for our armed forces were left behind.

Another episode where he has wilfully lied and left those interpreters etc to the Taliban
Not an ounce of contrition or decency about him
What part of Pen Farthing offered the seats in the plane to be filled by people waiting to be evacuated don't you understand? In the end because they refused to accept his offer he left on the plane alone apart from the animals in the hold - and the staff were evacuated by road into Pakistan where they had a plane paid for by donations. None of this cost the tax payers a penny and no British forces helped them - in fact the American troops helped Pen load the animals into the cargo hold. What Boris is accused of is putting animals above people and this did not happen.
Lankeela - none so blind as those that will not see. Over 60 other people could have been rescued, without disturbing the official evacuation order as far as I read it. No-one was sacrificed for the dogs, I fail to see the problem there.

I don't suppose that Boris authorised it (although I am sure he was aware of it) because, as far as I can see, it was an extra flight and not under the official plans. So, not his remit.

Yes, Boris wriggles and squirms and will obfuscate while he can, but he owned up in the end about the unwise garden meetings. Tell me one P.M. who wouldn't do this and who hasn't? Blair was interviewed by police 3 times I believe, but the media didn't go into a frenzy.
I think that the media - and a lot of others - should get things into perspective - last thing the West needs now is an unstable UK government.

Very true, an unstable uk government at this time.
But not too much to ask that the PM be truthful, moral, and consistent .?
No, indeed, anneasquith, but I find it had to believe that many PMs have been all these things - and I can't really think of one this century.
It would be good, I agree.
Jourdain, not just good. Boris will forever be known at home and abroad as a liar. And still people make excuses for him. That I will never understand .
I think it was Carrie rather than Boris who helped in the airlift of the animals from Afghanistan. She is a patron of an animal charity and helped to arrange the privately funded plane . Seats were offered to the staff but they were not accepted . As lankeela @20.15 has already said the staff were then ferried by road to Pakistan where they boarded a plane that was paid for by donations.
I don't think Boris had much to do with this airlift.
I have read his Wikipedia I didn’t want to read the rest of it.
