I'm a bit hazy on SSP as I'm so fit, healthy and unassailable but, don't you have to wait five days befor it kicks in, the same as the newest isolation period?
Will they still isolate, then? Or just keep quiet and carey on working?
Carry...
Best take it up with the bbc bednobs

Their wording not mine
It is accurate in that they have axed payment of company sick pay, and will only pay SSP, which is only payable from day 4.
I've heard a lot of people lately saying they're anti-vax.
I have no problem with people being anti-vax as long as they keep their views to themselves and don't try to impose them on sensible people.
They may just be pro Bex Bissell though.
The waiting days for SSP do no apply to those off with COVID or isolating because if COVID.
I thought they’d only reduced it.
I’m not sure about that to be honest.

yup
they are obliged to pay SSP ( at the standard rate of thruppence ha'penny a week ) but employers often pay more and this is the bit (um or moiety, ) that they are 'omitting'
sovereign citizen is an American import and means somethng completely different to er the average ABer - yes we have a sovereighn etc

sovereign citizens are not bound by the law: God knows where this came from. Even William I ( the conqueror that is!) had a legal code
( les leys du Rey Guilllaume) so the idea of Englishmen being unbound by law at some time is not really a go-er

Ok, pp, but they are still saying //"free thinking men and women living as sovereign beings under common law". They say that they reject violence and are in favour of "body autonomy".//

Which is not far off what I take it to mean. And they are fighting for the opposite.
Perhaps this mob are "Freemen on the Land" who have had their appeals against speeding convictions thrown out:

//I have no problem with people being anti-vax as long as they keep their views to themselves and don't try to impose them on sensible people.//

But the same should apply to the rabid vaxxers (I am not talking about the average person going about their business quietly). It should be left to the NHS to promote and to do it openly backed by clear irrefutable data. Then this sort of group wouldnt get off the ground.

Are you saying that there is an organised group of pro-vaxers forcing their views on and attacking people etc?
