Does anyone know if American plug sockets have changed since the 60s?

I need to know whether plugs from today could be used in 1960s sockets - would they fit the prongs etc?

Left the US in 82 but have visited since. Sockets were the same on last visit in 2019 and Apple products still have the same plug on their items sold in US and travel plugs at airports and on Amazon are the same as before
