Hi, I am getting the service message appearing on my epson stylus c66 telling me that parts inside are comming to the end of their life. I have googled for advice and see it is the waste ink pad counter that needs resetting, but the link to a program at http://www.ssclg.com/epsone.shtml doesn't seem to work. Is there any way to reset the counter with the three buttons on the printer? or can anyone help as I don't want to have to buy another printer as this one has been a good one and probably has plenty of life left yet.

Many thanks

Checking the link it says that it's NOT possible to reset the ink counter on a C66.I had the same problem and took the printer to dealer but it was nearly as cheap to buy another printer.

Thanks Hughes 66, I thought it might be something like that. It seems everything these days is only built to last a few years, keeps the makers profits up!
