I don't eat in bed either, can't be doing with crumbs.

Barry - my mobile is on silent and so it is easy to completely ignore for days on end. i only use it to contact family and closest friends. I only take it shopping in case I have a problem with car, etc., and then it lives in car door pocket.

When my broadband is down is turn my phone into a wifi hot spot and connect my PC to that.
Very useful way of getting back online, I would struggle with no internet

That's okay Barry . We all have different needs. I would be lost without a car. Would feel totally cut off but not worried about internet.
