a motley crew of 5th columnists, assorted lefties and remoaners etc are all moaning that we have failed to stop over 28,000 illegals in 2021. So over you you ladies and gentleman what measures should we have been employing?

I think it needs a multi pronged approach. Firstly the 'plan' shown by TTT would be one part (if the French assist) but then we should back it up with the following: 1) Amend the HR laws to protect the British and remove rigths for illegals. I think it needs a multi pronged approach.

Firstly the 'plan' shown by TTT would be one part (if the French assist) but then we should back it up with the following:

1) Amend the HR laws to protect the British and remove rigths for illegals. Cheap and easy to do with an 80 seat majority. There will be whining from the left but hey-ho.

2) Remove any right to any cash, medical or accommodation for non British illegal immigrants. As above, easily done.

3) Any illegal immigrant found in the UK is interned. (They dont just come from France). If they have destroyed documentation then they stay locked up until we identify them.

4) Once an Asylum application is failed they are removed from the country and returned to their country of origin. No appeals. Any country refusing them we cut them off completely from any UK handouts.

5) No tax payer funded legal representation. If briefs want to do it pro bono that is their choice but the tax payer should not fund it.

What I am trying to achieve here is pretty much the same as TTT's plan. If they get nothing they wont come, or very few will and we can deal with them.

naomi: "Not with you TTT. Will the French going suddenly find homes and jobs for all those returning who left from tents in Calais?" - no because they don't want to stay in France they will try and find another way to the UK.
"It's of no benefit whatsoever to the French to take them back. They're a liability and that's why the French don't want them back. " - the ones that want to stay in France apply in France probably at the border with Italy. the rest want to come here if the channel crossing is no longer an option they'll try and find another way. The camps will be emptied without any action by the authorities. Surely you can see that??

bang on YMB. Finally someone sees!
Sending them back to France will stop most of it, others managing to get here from other countries can be mopped up with your other measures. BA
Get real TTT, just think about it. They land in UK, the Brits put them on a ship & merrily chug over the channel to where; Calais, Boulogne, Dunkirk? Then what ?
This would be a ship entering the EU from outside, full of people with no passports whom they don't want - the French would love that.

Maybe your plan would be to smuggle them ashore during the Night?

khandro: "Get real TTT, just think about it. They land in UK, the Brits put them on a ship & merrily chug over the channel to where; Calais, Boulogne, Dunkirk? Then what ? " - They'd realise they cannot reach UK via France and burger off somewhere else. Result, in a few days anyone in France wanting to get to the UK will realise they cannot and leave France. UK and France both solve their problem. Why do people find this so difficult to comprehend?
//Why do people find this so difficult to comprehend?//
Indeed, because your plan hinges of the fact that the French would receive them, which they never would.

Also there is the problem that anyone setting foot on British soil has only to say 3 words (which they have been taught), "I claim asylum"
& international law states that they must be accepted & then processed

Only my earlier plan of not allowing them onto land & putting them on an anchored ship in the channel before moving them on to somewhere else on the globe would avoid this.

"Indeed, because your plan hinges of the fact that the French would receive them, which they never would. " - they would because my plan is based on Cooperation between us and them, a strange concept I know but they might just see sense if they could see that their problem is solved too.
Getting the CESMs to co-operate with the Ross-Bifs. Ha ha. Good look with that one.

It's been done ZM, I've actually been here:

We should get the owners to do some negotiations.

Concord might be a better example ;-)

Another hitch;

Don't blame Patel all the time. Should these guys be sacked? Whose pay are they in?
Question Author
they are unhappy about the push back plans. Forget that the answer is obvious.
Remember; you read it here first, now the Express is following up my suggestion, - sack 'em;
https://www.express.co.uk/news/politics/1546101/migrant-crisis-border-force-strike-english-channel-uk-france-crossings-priti-patel
"'Sack this useless bunch!' Britons rage as Border Force threatens STRIKE in migrant chaos" is their headline.

They then go on to include quotes from four Express readers, wow!
