Very Many Thanks Both - I'll dedicate my next painting to you both then!
If snow was scarlet
Instead of white
How the world would blaze
On a winter's night

And if it was blue
As the summer skies
We should have to wear spectacles
Over our eyes

And if it was yellow
How people would stare
As the flakes came fluttering
Through the air

Yet after all, there is nothing so bright
So dainty, so cheerful
So lovely and light
As the fleecy flakes of a delicate white

And for that Choux, you certainly get a dedication and even, if I can manage it, a painting speciffic to thyself!
Thank you, woodelf. That has taken me back nearly 70 years, when I had to learn it at school. My dear mother was so proud when I could recite it to anyone who would listen. Funny how some things stay with us for so long. You can save your paint for something far more worthy, I am sure! x
Good evening woodelf ( waves) . My interpretation of snow under a full moon. Is. It looks icy. Definitely a sharp blue tinge , with silver/ white mixed in. , and glistens all over . Take care . ( waves) .
