No Time To Die Dvd

I bought this on Amazon and we tried to watch it on Christmas Day evening. It's the 2-Disc Special Edition. The movie itself won't play. You have a choice of English or Italian then when you go to play movie it looks like the movie is loading and then you just get taken back to the language selection again. I wondered if anyone else had purchased it and had this problem?

We have watched other things on DVD so our DVD Player does not seem to be the problem.

It's going to be awkward sending it back to Amazon because I actually bought two copies, one of which is now in Hereford with my parents.

I have asked my parents to try their DVD and I'm sure they will in their own time. In the meantime I am asking for help on here.

And I'm sure my mother has no interest in Breaking Bad which is why I bought it for my father.

My mother's copy is working fine and she says it looks like a fantastic film. I might ask OH to take our copy round to his parents' house and try it on their DVD Player.

I've spoken to Amazon and they've issued a refund and told me to re-order it.

Have you tried giving it a little clean with a very soft cloth especially around the edge its amazing how often this works.

Had trouble getting my copy to work. Took 20 minutes and it finally loaded. Wish it hadn’t because I thought it was the biggest load of old tosh I’ve ever watched. Could have been worse though……we both might have paid a fortune and gone to a cinema rather than buy it from Amazon.

Not that I'm suggesting this for one minute with respect to yourself .

The thought struck me that Amazon are so cash rich that it just refunds the cash , without the DVD being sent back .

I wonder if there is a limit to the value of a product that they do this for

I've heard that Amazon frequently refuses returns and refunds instead, almost no questions asked.

OH managed to get it working in a fashion by "scene selection"and rewinding it back to the beginning. Fingers crossed we can watch it later.

The film has polarised opinion it would seem with many describing it as the worst Bond ever and many declaring it to be the best.

I'll reserve judgement until I've seen it.
