... on Netflix or Prime that is exciting. An adventure film that keeps you glued to your seat. Nothing to do with Christmas. I spent ages looking for one that we haven't watched. Nothing christmassy or too romantic.

The brilliant Kung Fu Hustle is on Netflix if you fancy some chop socky action that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Another recommendation for The Bird Box from me. Unusual and good.
Not sure what it's called but if you type 'potts' in the search there's a cracking film about how Paul Potts became famous, doesn't matter about not liking opera! lovely film.
Birdbox is good, but not for the faint hearted.
John Wick fims are good action, Baby driver is fast and fun, Heat is excellent
There's some wonderful ballet on YouTube, kept me entertained all over Christmas, wonderful music and wonderful dancing.
Chelle, loved Baby Driver. Not yet seen an Edgar Wright film I didn't enjoy.

Ha ha, I gave Mozz the best answer by accident. Must have pressed the wrong button. He can keep it though. All great answers and thank you .

Is birdbo about birds and do any get hurt. I don't like animals getting hurt in films. I don't care about the humans so much!

Thanks to all of you.
I did wonder about that to be honest Pat!

Nah, Birdbox does contain some birds (think canaries in a coalmine) but they don't meet an untimely end.

Thanks Mozz. Must watch it then.
Both the first and second Equaliser movies with Denzel Washington kept me glued to my seat. Obviously lots of violence but reasonably intelligent plots and very entertaining. I don't know if they are on Netflix though :-(
I read Bird Box as Bird Cage - a Robin Williams film. I'd definitely recommend that, I enjoyed it.
Romancing the stone

The Jewel of the Nile
Mozz, yes same hoping to have tome to see Last Night in Soho soon :)
The only Robin Williams film I can watch is "Good Will Hunting" & even then his scenes set my teeth on edge.

Just watched "Bridge of Spies" again - Hanks is worth his salt.
Am a tad late and it's probably not on Netflix or Prime either, but 'Big Trouble in Little China' is a mix of adventure/comedy/fantasy
