I can watch Netflix because my daughter pays for it and has set it up on my TV so I can watch it.
Can you do this with other things like Amazon Prime ( I think that's what it's called.)
There is a film I would like to watch called Evelyn with Pierce Brosnan but when I look for it on Netflix it's not the one with him in it but I think it's on Amazon Prime video.

Yes you can, Barsel. I have both Prime and Netflix through my daughter's account.
Yes your daughter would just need to log into the app on your TV and leave her prime log in for you
There's probably a lot of things that you can share in such a way but, unless the person you're sharing content or services with lives at the same address as you, it's
(a) a breach of the service provider's terms and conditions ; and
(b) a criminal offence. (i.e. intellectual property fraud)

Tread carefully!

Really Chris, I didn't know that.
I'm sure my daughter said you can have a number of people on your account, but didn't realise they had to live at the same address.
How would someone know?
They can't really know unless they track IP addresses. The guidance is there to deter people but Netflix etc. are fully aware that's how people use it. they still get subscriptions from it working this way - I have 2 friends who used to use my account but used it a lot so got heir own accounts.
If it really starts to affect the companies financially they can always restrict access to one user :)

Your connection will be through a different IP address to that at your daughter's home, so that could set alarm bells ringing with Netflix.

Well they would have to be quick to catch me, as I can't even remember when I last watched it.
Watched 1 season of The Crown and will watch the new one when it's out, but it's not something I would think about watching.

I know my daughter has something with Amazon Prime 'cos she gets free delivery on some things.
Does that automatically give you Prime Video?
Yes, Barsel, it does
My sister had Netflix one viewer herself £5.99 on checking her bank statement it had gone up. Not being much on Netflix she put it on to check her account and lo and behold it had been upgraded costing more. Not only that the names on the tv had been changed all strange names to her. So immediately phoned Netflix who told her her account had been hacked. She had to change her password and also email address. Some clever people out there. I check mine regular now.
Your daughter can share her Amazon account and ALL of its services if she puts you on her Amazon Family account. I do this with boy #1, I can’t see what he’s bought, etc and we both get full Prime for one subscription payment.
