oh good - thanks Sqad.
If your in UK this is from the govuk covid page on Boosters

Which vaccine you will be offered
You will be given a booster dose of either Pfizer or Moderna vaccine[footnote 1]. These vaccines have already been given to millions of people in the UK.

You will be offered the right vaccine for you which may be the same or different from the vaccines that you had before.
There not using AZ for the booster's
bobb.....exactly what I posted,but in 3 words.
Exactly what I had JJ.
Felt unwell for a few days after the first 2 jabs of AZ, but no problem with the Moderna vaccine booster.
They are using AZ for boosters, or at least they are on The Wirral.
Absolutely. Apart from the studies showing mixing can be better, our centre only has Moderna and said only people with allergies need Astra Zeneca three times. I had mine yesterday the same order as you and no problems at all.
Thanks parsleydumpling but that seem's it go's against what the nhs website says are you meaning boosters or 3rd jabs as 3rd jabs can be AZ?
after two jabs with the AZ i had the pfizer booster one, as they weren't doing the AZ boosters.
bobbinwales, I mean the booster as I wrote. AZ was ordered in because some of our patients requested it. We will be switching to Moderna as a booster later this month.
I'm amused that somebody asks a bunch of strangers, rather than trust the surgery!
Ginge...had you belonged to my last surgery you'd put your trust in the strangers. :-)
==Speaking in an All-Party Parliament Group on coronavirus, Prof Barclay said: "What we don't know at the moment is how long does the booster effect last.

"A graph has shown two doses of Pfizer plus a Pfizer boost, there's a definite increase in the number of people who have antibodies.

"But three months after that booster dose you're back down again to only 25 percent of the people having the antibodies.

"We're definitely boosting but there is some doubt over how long the booster will last."==

So on and on then?
I had a stroke after the first two so no more for me!

Here I stand, I can do no other, God help me, amen.
