A discussion instigated by Khandro in 'News' has turned into a debate on religion but is now almost off the front page. If anyone is interested in pursuing this further, since this is a more appropriate place to continue the discussion, a link to the original is here.

Khandro, //Some people simply cannot bear to face the fact that someone just may perhaps know something that they do not//

That's very true, and even given the required evidence, those people still cannot accept that others know more than they do, so in that vein, given that you have provided no evidence to demonstrate the accuracy of your philosophers' conclusions, what are you claiming they 'know'?

//naomi: In order to try to get the last word, you never seem to mind what twaddle you write.//

Joining the pathetic bleat of the ineffective does your intellect no favours. If you think my posts are 'twaddle' have the grace to explain your reasoning.
Still employing typical Christian tactics, I see. Attempting the old switcheroo, victim bashing. "Serves you right for being in the path of my bull**it. Why should I turn the other cheek when I have two fists as well?"
With a little thought one might awaken to the realisation that the Christian message was never intended for Christians at all but rather was created with the prospect that their victims might fall for it.
^^ That has to be the daftest post on this thread (possibly of all time).
So all followers of Jesus are his victims ?
I've known a few to go with the third option. Get out of the way!
errr?

Khandro, is my post too difficult for you to respond to?
