Can You Do This ?

Here is a extract from an M&S advert which cropped up on my screen today. The reason I'm posting it is that I discovered that am unable to twist my hands round like the lass depicted. To peer through my looped thumb/forefinger like that my hands would be the other way round (i.e. fingers in front, not behind the thumbs, with the latter at the bottom of the loop),

Is it an age thing or is the lass a contortionist ?

Now I've looked at the photo properly - I can do it. Just spread your fingers round your cheeks

yeh wrap your middle fingers under your jaw and use as a lever to rotate your thumb/forfinger loop.
