Dave and I have been on some willow weaving courses, Bobbi. Dave made a wreath and the most fantastic willow bird for the garden. We are both now soaked and windswept. I spotted a mouse gathering seeds from the feeder and going under my car. Needed to check it wasn't somehow getting into the car....in the howling wind and rain as it occasionally is in Ireland.......

Think I'd use a brown wool with bronze metallic threads.
Ahhhhh….. I see now. You could pop the odd sixpence into it. And don’t pour brandy over it and light it….:-)
Not recommended, no.
I love that mamya!
Evening bobbi x
I'm really sorry, but have to share my pain. I have discovered I'm not mad keen on the letter 'm' until I cleaned my specs.
I read the 'm' as r n = Mamya's post over on page 1.

I'd love to be able to make wreaths, but am hopeless, what my eyes see does not translate to my fingers.
Now you've given me a new idea Alba, and a laugh.
Now those you will have to show us, Mamya!!!!
My cousins decorations are 65 years old belonged to her mother as well as crib each dec are still kept in their individual box but has added new over the years
