Sofology - Still Waiting For My Sofa

I ordered my sofa on 14th June and was given a delivery date for Sept. Due to the problems with shipping etc in the summer this was pushed back to Oct and then there was a further push back to 29th Nov, yesterday. The normally provided a update on my account showing the revised delivery date but this time they have not and it is still 29th Nov. I've tried their webchat and no 9ne is responding on that - it's been over an hour. I'm also been on the phone for over an hour. Started as number 73 and now 44 in the queue although that keeps jumping about to 45, 46 then back to 44 again. Very odd.

I tried calling and the webchat yesterday to find out if they were delivering but had the same problem. I also submitted an online support request 2 weeks ago and not had a response despite 72 hour turnaround. I don't have time to go to the store.

Don't know what else to do and pretty sure many other customers are in the same boat. Any suggestions?

Might just do that, Ellipsis!
Did you pay for the deposit with a credit card -if so, you can get re-emboursed.
Tigger - get a refund and go buy something from IKEA x
Great suggestion AP,. I had a lovely squishy sofa from IKEA .
DFS make their sofas to order in the UK and have their own delivery network, so they're being affected less by the current supply chain issues. Still, you would not get a delivery before Christmas now as they'd need to make it. You'd need to be buying from stock, possibly returns/second hand so you might look at ebay.

I didn't want any of the ones from ikea, APG. I looked in all the sofa and furniture stores around and loved the one from sofology. Didn't care how much it was, I just wanted it.
Only around half of DFS sofas are made in the UK. Most of their leather sofas are made in China
I feel for you tiggs, that is a ridiculous amount of time to wait for your sofa ! I ordered a new sofa from SCS a couple of years ago and it was delivered within 14 days, as they promised. Trying to get through on phones today is a nightmare, I have just spent an age trying to sort something out with Scottish Power. I'm old enough to remember when you made a phone call and got an answer right away without having to press this, that or the other button - progress ? I don't think so.

I would never use Sofology after this bad experience of yours.
