A lousy start for me in the adult quiz this week, getting the first three wrong. However everything went very smoothly after that, giving me a ‘middling’ score of FOUR out of seven:

My performance in the junior quiz was far worse though, scoring just ONE out of five:

I didn’t fare too badly with the ever-tricky Timed Teaser, managing a reasonable (but not great) FIVE out of ten:

There’s a bonus quiz available this week, on the theme of American food. I found it quite entertaining but certainly not very rewarding, with a pathetic score of just ONE out of ten:

So there’s plenty of scope for beating me this week, I think ;-)

Looks paler in my glass than in that guy in the vid glass, Chris more like a dark ruby in colour to me. Not to bad a drink though ( may have to get more ).

I've made a mental note to get some more of this Oakham Inferno in for Christmas, Tony. (4 for £6 in both Morrison's and Tesco. £1.75 a bottle in Waitrose). It's a lovely golden ale, somewhat similar to Crouch Vale Brewer's Gold or Oakham Brewery's own Citra, both of which have twice been Champion Beer of Britain in the golden ale category.
I'll give it a try, Chris.
4-4-3.

Not too bad, Rowanwitch. You've matched me in one quiz and beaten me in another! Not trying the bonus quiz though?

Well done, Piggy! There are some good scores there and you've (easily) beaten me on three out of the four quizzes!
Oh dear just ONE in the first
3 in the kids
6 in the American
I don't do the timed one as the time disappears before I finish reading the question!
5/7, 4/5 and.............................................................2/10.
Excuses though because there's such a gale blowing outside, i could hardly hear the questions :-))
Didn't do the American foody one.

At least you only scored 1 once, JJ109; I managed it twice!
Well done with a decent score on the US quiz, anyway ;-)

Two decent scores anyway, Ken ;-)
Go on, try the US one. It's quite entertaining!

Well done with that 6, Calmck!
You're not the only on who's lived in the States to fall down on some of those questions ;-)
4/7 for me.

A solid enough 'middling' score, I think, Gromit. Can't I tempt you to try at least one of the other three quizzes this week?
Thanks Chris,

3/7
5/5
4/10
7/10

Still a big kid at heart.

Read an article in yesterdays paper regarding Thanksgiving Day food, although I would draw a line at sweet potato and marshmallows in a stew (pass the sick bag !!).
6 adult
4 childrens
haven't done that yet....
food quiz 4
i got 7 for the timed one
6/10 for the food quiz.
4/7, 3/5, didn't do the timed one, and 4/10 in the food quiz. Not bad for me that lot! I'll give myself 2 "P" points!
I wasn't expecting much and I didn't get it - 3, 1 and 5. I couldn't even find my inner child this week. The american food were mostly guesses, pick the answer you'd least like to eat!
