i too totally agree with you spicerack...
jno //so what did you google to be told that Rashford has never donated to charity, hm? Link please.//

If you think about it, jno. If I used google to gain my insights, I'd know the same as you....nothing.
The short version is, everything that happened to our hero, happened in a very short space of time. With dollops of good luck attached. As the legend goes, he was the right man in the right place at the right time.
The long version started when Mino Raiola, the Monaco based soccer agent, advised Rashford's brothers, who manage him, to raise his profile.
There followed a series of boring occurrences with a lousy cast list.
Event Planners, the Co-Op, Celebrity agents, Fair-Share (lol) BLM pluggers, grifters, hangers on like the profligate PM and our wonderful press.
He's a hero for our time and good luck to him.
If you like to believe he gives 120% of his income to charity, why not.
The 125% claim is a comparison of his supposed wealth with that raised from his charity work.

It's a false comparison since I doubt he has revealed his personal wealth and the twenty-million pound has not come from his personal wealth.

Other than that, he has done a good job in raising the money.
I do not know if this will ever stop. I have respect for Marcus Rashford but he is not a political world figure such as Churchill. It is partly the fault of the soft heads in some of our schools who have no personal authority to tell the pupils to stop meddling.
