I have an arrangement with The Practice Manager at my surgery to email her with any problems and then she can have a word with the doctor since I don't hear too well.

Anyway had a problem on Tuesday with a prescription - some of it was missing and without going into a big saga, I contacted Manager yesterday at about 9.30am.

Now I asked her to confirm she received it since the last 3 emails I sent to her - she said she never received them.

How long would you give for her to ask her to email you back - the question is not urgent but a certain thing needs to be organised within a week or so, but I'm afraid of her forgetting again.

I am Corby - have been using it for about a year now. But you do have an interesting point, if I don't hear from her by next week - I will query that email address.
If the address is incorrect the email should be returned to you as undeliverable
Can't you add a 'received/read' message so you get notified when she has received/read it?

Lankeela - some people be annoyed at that particularly this is a privilege I am getting - everybody else has to phone.

I looked at emails she sent me over the last few months - and from her some have upper and lower case - and others from her again maybe first letter of her name in Upper Case. I know from years ago this would have been important but I have been recieving both with no problem.

I do suspect that - she will answer in her own time as there is "Covid". And I do think she did get the last emails but forgot to answer them. that's my bad.
If you 'reply' to her email address rather than input it manually, it will go to her. 'Not receiving' emails seems to be a good excuse for not doing her job properly.

apg - I would be aware of that and they are all replies as she sends me emails that I have to get this and that done ie bloods for example and I reply. No I find them when I go to the surgery that they are apathetic - couldn't care less.
