the next 15 years? Darn, I'm not going to live long enough to see the new dawn, am I? But maybe my grandchildren will.
My heads not in the sand. Like most sensible Remainers I know we'er out so no point in saying 'if only', 'how dumb you were, 'told you so, 'haha' etc, we just need to get on and make the best of it. Head in the sand is still believing it might all get reversed and still going on about it. Anyway look at the wider picture. See how things are in 10 years.
Am always puzzled as to the point of 'questions' like this
It seems worth mentioning to me.
I am rather hoping the Lib Dems will become the "Rejoin the EU" party (not in actual name of course) and give up the pretence that they can ever form a government on their own.
Pepple laughed at the "Referendum party" but look at us now.
The the prospct of our trade deal with the EU unravelling before Christmas, it seems even more pertinent.
Hopefully common sense will prevail all round.
It's not the link that I was querying ickeria, it's the sarcastically done guys... Still got your heads in the sand' childish jibe I expect from gulliver but not others
^ ....sarcastic 'well done guys...'
i don't have my head in the sand, nor do i have it up my bum, time to stop moaning and get on with life, no one said it would be easy breaking away from the EU, we had been allied for 40 years, so lets see what can be achieved in the coming years.
Yes fair point bobbin.

No point antagonising people.
We all want the best for the UK (some of us would even like it to stay as 4 countries!) regardless of where we stand on the issue
//We all want the best for the UK//

If only that were true.
i don't want to split from Scotland at all, better together in this instance.
I was thinking more of NI to be honest. Brexit is doing terrible damage to my neck of the woods (the burning buses are back!) and it's not as if most people there wanted it.
i see what you mean ichkeria....
so you expect to replace the whole EUSSR trade wise within a year then? right oh!
//Trade agreements also aim to remove quotas (limits on the amount of goods that can be traded).//
So until the amount of goods to be traded is known no one can determine the difference between what was traded whilst in the EU and what will be traded following Brexit.
Brexit isn't doing damage, certain groups using it as an excuse to cause trouble maybe. Presently we are simply in a transition period to a more acceptable status for our nation. One might have hoped folk would have got behind that by now and stopped spouting nonsense about how awful things are and how it's all the fault of those who had the guts to get us out of external control.
TTT, I figured it would take the UK 10 years to get back on an even keel. But seeing even Rees Mogg thinks it will be 20, I suppose it will be more like 30. As I said, I will not be here, and if I was, I'm not sure there would be a monarch to send me a telegram.
