Hunters' Chicken Without Bbq Sauce.

I'd like to cook some form of Hunters' Chicken but hate the thought of using BBQ sauce. Any suggestions for an alternative sauce?

Hunters chicken is a translation of Chicken Chasseur, I guess somewhere along the way brown sauce became barbeque. I'm glad you asked this question Tilly as I cant stand BBQ sauce either!

Hunter in Italian is Cacciatore.

I'm not sure what "chemical additives" Tilly is referring to in canned soup...I've just looked at two different soups online and there are no "chemicals" in either of them (unless you count salt!).

I ended up making a garlicy, tomato, mushroom and onion sauce. It was lovely. :-)
