Possibly a literary theme, maybe something of a walking theme or related to a description by an outdoor writer, poet or celebrity.

Q. Who lost what between Mortimer's Penning and Cutt's Copse in Wiltshire, and with which brand of what should it be packed?

Research has Mortimer's Penning somewhere near Netheravon, with Cutt's Copse near Larkhill and Knighton Down about 5 km to SW of Netheravon

Thanks for any help

Between those two locations lies "Wainwright's Pipe", which looks to be a pipe-shaped copse:

I'll leave it to you to find a famous Wainwright and the brand of tobacco that he favoured.
Brilliant bit of research, Etch!
