Santander Debit

I got a new card last week and have been paying regularly online and in shops etc.

However I'm trying to buy another online and it won't accept the card. My card is Santander Debit - but if I remember correctly - on the last card it would have said Santander Visa. Would this be a problem.

ok - Barsel you will be ok now that you not only have ordered online, and chipped and pinned which I didn't have to do but I'm thinking the first thing I did was to use it right away in the shops and it worked.

Can I also mention that I got "Contactless" removed so I have to use my pin number which is what I wanted. I am too nervous with Contactless as I am quite careless etc.
