Hooded … no idea what a phooded dressing gown is - but probably nicer than a hooded one.
Phooey, no - I wouldn't wear a bonnet as a baby either.
what got stuck to the bottom of your shoe on your walk? well a phooded
I generally have two at a time and neither have hoods. When they did have, I only used them when I had wet hair and/or had to run out to look for an escaped child/ dog. Otherwise, I ignore them.
i always wanted a silk komono im sure i would look splendid
Naomi typed 'phooded' so that we could all take the p ;-)

[I never wear a dressing gown at home but I have got one for hospital stays. It's the absolute cheapest that Primark had for sale though, with no hood. However I do find a hooded fleece handy when I'm trying to save on heating and want something to keep cold air from the back of my neck, so I can see a possible benefit from a hooded dressing gown].
Tbh, I don't wear a hood, even if it's pouring with rain. Too ingrained:-)
