19d The earliest you can answer A?A? This is supposed to be a straight clue! All I could think of was AWAY i.e. to answer "straight away" but not sure that is right.

Thanks Danny. Clues are a little vague I feel. "Less" does not mean "minor". It's an adjective conveying a relative quantity whereas "minor" is either a noun (a young person) or an adjective conveying a small but fixed amount of something, not relative amount. ASAP I can see now, but surely the clue should show (1,1,1,1) rather than (4) as the letter count - which admittedly I did not give you!
