morning, Sunday already, where has the time gone. I hope you are all in good health, if not you have my sympathy, and that your day is a pleasant one. I am feeling decidedly under par, and have been since i had the booster jab, like an underlying flu without the cold, very odd. Are you doing anything special today? I can't go out as sainsburys messed up my order and what should have come yesterday, will i hope be delivered today, but it means literally a day indoors, harrumph....

that's quite a change in temperature, its not like that here.....
//why do you want or need so much rain//
Because we don't get much
Question Author
ok, i reckon we should send you some of ours, if you can send us some sun....
I'll bag some sunshine and post it to you Emmie
As long as you promise some rain in return;-)
Question Author
will try 1ozzy... i will do a rain dance for you....
Morning all - sorry to hea you are having a reaction to the jab, emmie. Which type was it? But at least you are building your protection to covid up.....

It;s amazingly busy down here with loads of kids around - hardly any masks being worn - which I find surprising as a lot of the Duchy is running at 800-1000 cases/100k people....the highest over 2000 towards Plymouth in the Callington area..

morning Dtc
Question Author
initially i had the astra zeneca, which i got a nasty reaction to the first jab, but the booster was Pfizer and not sure but feel decidedly out of it
Question Author
that's not good at all Dtc, why so high i wonder.
we're promised a nicer day, sunny most of the time a high of 17°C - currently 13° feels like 11 but in here it feels as if there is a nip to the air.....negligées and dressing gowns on if it is like that elsewhere.....
It has been high ever since Boris has his posh bbq on the beach - with them, ridicuously so, all dressed in suits while he belched gasses into the atmosphere willy-nilly, having talked at length about climate change.....then we have had tourists swarming around to add to the covid exposure - and now its half term..... The Royal Cornwall in Truro had to go to black alert a couple of days ago with over 100 people waiting in A&E - normal busy is 40....they had 25 ambulances backing up with the overflow.
Question Author
Oh I see.
Question Author
Thats not good at all.
Hope the shopping mess-up gets sorted out....do they give you a time-slot for delivery?
Question Author
last e mail said between 3-4, but quite honestly i wouldn't go out in case they turn up before hand,
Question Author
how are you doing Dtc, any news on the house front?
Hoping to hear on that this coming week.....
Question Author
i can't imagine what's it like to be house hunting... i have been here for over 40 years and don't plan on moving any day soon
