I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

I got an email this morning and was able to book a booster jab. Then I got a call from the GP surgery offering an earlier one, so I took that and cancelled the other. It's nice to know so many people want me healthy.
Hello all
Glad you liked your song Neti.
That's good Jno. I look at the surgery website most days to check the jab situation but nothing doing. I'll probably get a flu jab at the pharmacy. I've only ever had one before and that laid me low for weeks which could have been coincidence but I'll throw caution to the wind now in the current climate and get one.
Hope you're all ok .

I had a flu jab the other day and never felt a thing, shaney, no reaction at all. I assume they've got it right this year.

Tesco's have got 70cl bottles of Baileys for £14.50. They aren't selling, because the 1 litre bottles are £12, and there were none of those left, but fortunately OH got down on hands and knees and found a couple hidden behind the gin. But that's as daft a pair of special offers as I've come across. Do they think their customers can't count?
Had my first ever flu jab last Nov. Thought that I owed the health service that much with covid and no reaction at all!! Will no doubt get the call again soon and then the covid booster. I also want the shingles vaccine but its unheard of. I can pay privately €130 but will ask Mexico first!

tomorrow is booster morning! Must wear short sleeves.

More photos of Ophelia are pouring in. All propaganda to soften us up for babysitting. I should probably be more enthusiastic, but after four years as a more or less full-time carer, I'm in no rush to take on another client.
But its your grandchild jno. Its more or less obligatory to childmind!! Mind you I wouldn't have the energy!!

it is these days, neti but it wasn't always so. When I were a nipper, I saw one grandma at Christmas, as she lived hundreds of miles away. The other grandad lived quite close but I never saw him as he and Dad (his son) had quarrelled. Mum's Dad and Dad's Mum were long dead in the 30s and 40s. This wasn't unusual, not many kids had grandparents around, plus because Mums seldom worked they did their own childcare.

However both Mr and Mrs jno jnr are working from home but on different days, so I can see they'd need a hand occasionally.

Anyway, I am now boosted and ready to go!
It must be christmas, Jno is on a Baileys hunt. hello all, I am much better foot still attached and much less painful but ny ankles are no longer a matched pair. Sis arrived on tuesday and has been saving me a lot of walking for which I am very grateful.
Before she arrived and soon after I had trashed the ankle I found I had no milk in the house, I only keep one carton in the kitchen fridge and the rest is stored in the fridge in the garage but there was no way i could walk that far so I had Baileys in my breakfast coffee....any excuse :)
Glad to hear you are all getting jabbed and not collapsing. Mine is monday, booster not for a while yet.
Shaney I sometimes react to the flu jab but its better than the flu. I am not sure about getting the shingles one but I guess I should.

KBO everybody

sorry you 40 year olds have to wait so long, woofgang. You might get it quicker if you tell them you have vulnerable ankles.
I never knew either grandmother jno and only saw my one remaining granddad twice. Lots of strange family history.
Hija has just been doubkenjabbed with the modern a one. I suppose they will get round to our boosters eventually. After Xmas is our dangerous time when people arrive back on island after Xmas jollies!!
Glad you are bearing up woofy.

Ophelia is grumpy as she tried to get an Addison Lee cab for us tomorrow like wot her parents use and there aren't any - apparently too many of their drivers have gone off to drive HIVs and get rich. Curse Brexit!
Question Author
or even HGVs!
Hello all
It's the same round here Jno.I had an awful job to get a taxi when I last went to the hairdressers. Usual taxi firm couldn't oblige so had to ring others. Tried several with no joy and was afraid I would have to cancel but luckily the last firm I rang had one. The driver was telling me all the local firms are short of drivers due to them going off to do either HGV work if they have a license or cashing in on the sweeteners offered by Tesco etc. You can't blame them really.I was her last customer so she drove me home as it's on her way which was nice of her.
Not much doing here . Weather not too bad ,fairly sunny today but it's nippy of a morning now. Glad you're feeling better now Woofy. The Baileys will help ! I love a coffee with a glug. Nice that you have your sister around to give you a hand.
Waves to Neti...night all.

Ophelia eventually found a black cab to get OH there at 9am; I went by train at luncthime and we left by another black cab at 6. She was just waking when I got there and still awake when we left, which is a very long day and her parents will suffer the consequences. But aside from a couple of weepy patches she was very cheery.
Hello. Lovely be ether here now, sunny but cooler! Actually went to a proper hairdressers today. Was fed up with the Chinese not doing itnpropwrly but they were cheap. Well this one was only 15€ for wash cut dry and style. Well pleased!!/she was recommended by my nail girl! I also have found a lovely white pearl cream to take our any yellow tones.
We have been invited out to lunch on Saturday and I am so excited! Its been a long time coming and I must behave!!
So how are the remaining biddies? Hope you are all well and happy!!!
Had ahuge thunderstorm in the night ( we had been forewarned!) And its still wet and stormy now. Lyckily I didnt have to go anywhere althiugh MrN walked to village to do some work in a flat and was absolutely drenched when he returned! We have just hunkered down and waiting forthe storm to pass. Apparently roads in ibiza town are flooded. No satellite tv so thank goodness for Netflix etc.

still water on our lawn from two nights ago, neti. Despite the sun blazing down with 13-degree heat for 10 minutes or so. It's been mostly dry yesterday and today but I really don't think I've ever seen the garden as permanently damp as this year. Squirrels are digging huge holes. Moss keeps coming back.
I've been called in for combined covid/flu booster on 14 Nov and it's a Sunday!
Question Author
a combined jab, that's very efficient. They don't do it here.
