Bought a ticket for a music event "The Last Waltz" last Saturday. At the last minute couldn't attend but sold my ticket easily as there was a waiting list. Now at least 12 of my friends who attended are self isolating as they have all tested positive for Covid. Although gutted I couldn't attend, part of me is quite glad.

I'd be glad too. I hope your friends all recover quickly.
all of you should be glad, especially your immune system.
Close call. Unlike newjudge I think there right to be tested and if positive they shouldnt just carry on with there lifes as normal as suggests
Be interest to know how many of your friends were vaccinated.
On another thread, someone is claiming it is the unvaccinated who are being hospitalised. From my own experience I know a dozen cases where the person hospitalised had both jabs.

My friend's next door neighbour (who is very, very confused) had just been taken into hospital and has tested positive for Covid. Her son also has it and has been very ill although on the mend now. Understand that neither have been vaccinated. It's all about choices of course.

Gromit, so far as I am aware all my friends have been vaccinated and, although testing positive, they all seem to be well but isolating for 10 days.
I apologise if this is a bit off topic but my dog walker just happened to mention she is not vaccinated, doesn't believe in it, doesn't believe it even exists. Now I'm just taking this in and wondering what to do. Hmmmm!
