Just back from doing a weekly shop and have to say all the shelves are well stocked and could not see any large spaces. No massive queues at the fuel pumps either. Think all that might change next week when it is half-term.

Have any of you noticed empty shelves?

No, all good here as well LJ

I noticed that some of the prices seem to be a little higher - not a lot - but no lack of anything. I think it must in areas where people are panic buying ie large towns whereas those in more smaller communities are more restrained.
We have an Asda superstore not far from us , I was in there yesterday , no empty shelves
do all my major grocery shopping online, very rare there's an item unavailable . . .

ael - that's good to hear. Never done online shopping so cannot comment on that or if wrong goods or no goods is usual.
Fine here as usual.
No big bottles of sparkling water in iceland, loads of the more expensive small ones I am thinking marketing opportunity rather than non delivery.

You could be right there Rowan.
Yes in Asda.

Shelves empty or shelves full Sharon?
Morrisons a bit short of crisps yesterday but still plenty of choice for the less discerning.
I've seen 'empty' shelves...but I think is just rearranging for Christmas, not shortages.

There are a few items that have disappeared...fresh chicken livers, and vegetable crisps. Are they considered unnecessary? I got livers in the butchers and joked that they are being used for pate...
Two things missing from my list yesterday, the frozen chips I wanted and frozen breakfast topper.
What's a frozen breakfast topper?
I've seen seeds as such...but never frozen.
Just taken delivery of my shopping and only one substitution - tubs of Christmas chocs.

Not a problem.
Mamya, that's a lot cheaper than the one I get at Tesco and it's probably exactly the same.
Empty shelves especially where the whole chickens should be!! I can buy an organic chicken for £11.
Of course there are no gaps on shelves, they just fill them up with grab-bags of Doritos and tubs of assorted sweets, whatever the location or aisle. :-)
No rock salt in Sainsbury's today and very little to chose from in the way of ready meals. Should have gone to ..... any other supermarket.
